Welcome to Altism
Hello. My name is Paul Hamilton. I created Altism to work with people who think differently, after I was inspired by my own autism.
I am a qualified executive coach, and a member of the International Coaching Federation, working towards accreditation. I have a particular interest in coaching people who are not sure coaching is for them. This is the focus of the research in my current Master’s degree at Henley Business School.

“Working with Paul was very helpful for me at a time of transition in my career. His coaching style is great: he is thoughtful and unassuming, and guides you to find your own solutions, as all good coaches should do. His specialism in neurodiversity was an additional support for someone with ADHD working in senior roles.”
Toby, senior leader in communications.
I spent 30 years working as an actuarial consultant, during which time I held a wide range of leadership roles, including 6 years at Board level. In my role as a consultant, I enjoyed working with a diverse set of clients, understanding how different industries worked. As a leader in the business, I had a focus on creating diverse and inclusive teams.
I believe that diverse teams work better, and bring benefits for all. However, current processes and procedures can be based on a historically narrow view of what good teams look like which may create unnecessary barriers to progression for some people.
